I have a few problems when I include images into PDF:
- My image has white background and some parts of it have gradient fill (it is actually a chart with gradient legend or title). In this case, when it is included into PDF the image has a light gray background instead of white.
- In this case the image has no gradient anywhere and included into PDF has white background if my OS is WinXP or WinVista, but on Win7 I still have the background.
- Again using my Win7 machine, the quality of images is a lot lower then the same image under WinXP or Vista. The original image is a lot bigger in size, than the area on my report and it looks like under Win7 it is scaled down first and then included into PDF (the files produced under Win7 are about half size of the one, produced under WinVista using the same executable and generating the same report).
In all my tests I had to use PNG image formats, since the metafile option is not currently supported by the vendor.
