It is possible to paint bitmaps, such as TIFFs, onto the wPDF Canvas and export this to PDF. And yes, the PDF/A marker can be set, too.
However PDF/A means that that the text can be extracted, this is not the case if there are just bitmaps in the file. So not all PDF/A marked files are what they promise.
