Is there a way now, or are there plans in the near future to support embedding video in your PDF files created from WPTools/wPDF? Acrobat reader supports embedded video and would be a nice feature for our customers (property inspectors) to be able to embed short video clips in their reports to their clients without having to resort to using links to point to youtube videos for example. Much easier to manage for our users if they could simply insert a clip directly.
Embed video in PDF?

Many customers are still looking for this ability in our product since PDF files can now embed video (one or two short clips). Any plans? Our main competitor supports it :(

Still looking for the ability to embed a video. If you have the time, please take a look at how iTextSharp inserts videos into a PDF, perhaps you can make use of this info... some links which might be of use:

wPDF supports to attach binary data - but I did not test it with video yet.

Just an FYI. I finally got around to testing with WPTools7 with wPDF 4, and tested embedding an MP4 video file. In Acrobat Reader, double clicking the image associated with the embedded object correctly launched the MP4 video player and played the video.
Our competitor plays SWF videos inline within the PDF doc, but this might be better, so I think I'm a happy camper :)
